not marked as a favorite taxon Mecardonia procumbens (Miller) Small. Common name: Baby Jump-up. Phenology: (Mar-) Jun-Sep (-Feb). Habitat: Ponds, streams, ditches, moist shores. Distribution: Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona south. Reported for Mississippi (Philley 2020). Discovered in Georgia (Camden County; Carter & Mears [2024]).
