Miconia bicolor (P. Miller) Triana var. bicolor. Common name: Tetrazygia. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Pine rocklands, rockland hammocks, marl prairie edges. Distribution: S. peninsular FL; West Indies (Bahamas, Cuba, Hispaniola).
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: An additional variety, var. patenti-setosa Borhidi, occurs in Cuba.
