Ophioglossum crotalophoroides Walter. Common name: Bulbous Adder’s-tongue. Phenology: Mar-May (-Sep). Habitat: Moist ditch banks, grassy roadside flats, lawns, cemeteries, moist pine woodlands. Distribution: E. NC (Dare County) south to FL and west to c. TX; also in Mexico, the West Indies, Central America, and South America.
