Opuntia ochrocentra Small ex Britton & Rose. Common name: Bullsuckers. Phenology: Early Apr-May; Aug-Feb. Habitat: Rockland hammocks, coastal rock barrens. Distribution: Endemic to lower FL keys (Monroe County).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: O. ochrocentra is an allopolyploid derived from O. abjecta × O. dillenii.

Synonymy : = Fl5, K4, Majure et al (2017); < Opuntia cubensis Britton & Rose — FNA4, WH3. Basionym: Opuntia ochrocentra Small ex Britton & Rose 1923
