Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Previously generally confused with the hybrid between Platanthera ciliaris × cristata (P. ×channellii J.P. Folsom); see Folsom (1984) and Brown (2004) for details.

Synonymy : = ETx1, FNA26, K1, K3, K4, WH3, Brown (2002), Efimov (2016); = Blephariglottis chapmanii Small – S, S13; = Habenaria ×chapmanii (Small) Ames – Tx, pro species
