Polystachya concreta (Jacquin) Garay & H.R. Sweet. Common name: Greater Yellowspike Orchid, Yellow Helmet Orchid. Phenology: (Jan-) Sep-Dec. Habitat: Epiphytic in swamps, sloughs, strands, and wet hammocks. Distribution: C. and s. FL; West Indies; possibly also in Mexico, Central America, and the Old World tropics, depending on the very uncertain circumscription of the species.
