Potamogeton floridanus Small. Common name: Florida Pondweed. Habitat: Blackwater rivers. Distribution: Apparently endemic to blackwater rivers of the Panhandle of FL.
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
Taxonomy Comments: Kaplan et al. (2018) demonstrate that this taxon is the hybrid P. pulcher × oakesianus. I prefer to retain it at species rank, and not give it the "hybrid ×", for reasons discussed by Franck & Weakley in Weakley et al. (2018).
