Proserpinaca palustris Linnaeus. Common name: Common Mermaid-weed. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Wet places, swamp forests. Distribution: Throughout e. North America and south to the Caribbean; Mexico (CHO, VER), Central and South America.
