not marked as a favorite taxon Proserpinaca pectinata Lamarck. Common name: Feathery Mermaid-weed. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Bogs, savannas, ditches, other wet places. Distribution: Nova Scotia south to s. Florida and west to w. Louisiana, mostly on the Coastal Plain, but scattered inland as well, as in c. Tennessee and Ridge and Valley of Georgia (Walker County); Cuba; Mexico (Chiapas, Tabasco), Central America.
