Salix eriocephala Michaux. Common name: Heart-leaved Willow, Diamond Willow, Missouri Willow. Phenology: Apr-early May; May-early Jun. Habitat: Streambanks, riverbanks, calcareous fens and marshes, river-scour prairies, impoundments, and other disturbed wet areas. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) west to SK, south to w. FL, AR, s. KS, and ne. CO.
