not marked as a favorite taxon Senega appendiculata (Vellozo) J.F.B. Pastore & J.R. Abbott. Common name: Swamp Milkwort. Phenology: Apr-Jun. Habitat: Bogs and pond margins. Distribution: Se. North Carolina (Pender County; B. Sorrie, pers.comm., 2025); ne. and Panhandle Florida west to e. Texas; Mexico, Central America, and South America; Cuba. No confirmed Georgia specimens appear to exist, although the species has been collected from adjacent Nassau County, Florida.
