Senega lewtonii (Small) J.F.B. Pastore & J.R. Abbott. Common name: Sand Sweethearts, Lewton’s Milkwort. Phenology: Feb-Mar. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, Florida scrub, often on yellow sands. Distribution: N. FL peninsula (Marion County) south to c. FL.
