Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Synonymy : = Fl3, FNA11.1, K4, POWO, Delgado-Salinas et al (2011); = Phaseolus speciosus Kunth = Vigna speciosa (Kunth) Verdc. — NS, SE3, WH3, Isely (1998). Basionym: Phaseolus speciosus Kunth 1824
