Solanum rostratum Dunal. Common name: Buffalo-bur, Kansas-thistle, Buffalo-bur Nightshade. Phenology: May-Oct (-Apr). Habitat: Disturbed areas, especially overgrazed pastures and feedlots. Distribution: The native distribution obscure, at least in c. and w. United States and n. Mexico.
