not marked as a favorite taxon Spiranthes torta (Thunberg) Garay & H.R. Sweet. Common name: Southern Ladies’-tresses, Rockland Ladies’-tresses. Phenology: Late May-Jul. Habitat: Pine rocklands, marl prairies, pine flatwoods. Distribution: S. Florida; West Indies; s. Mexico and Central America.
