Stachytarpheta jamaicensis (Linnaeus) Vahl. Common name: Blue-flower, Jamaica Vervain, Rat-tail Vervain, Joee. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Dunes, pine rocklands, coastal rock barrens, roadsides. Distribution: FL peninsula; West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Bah, Fl6, K4, Meso4.2, Mex, WH3; = Valerianoides jamaicensis (L.) Kuntze — S; Verbena jamaicensis Linnaeus. Basionym: Verbena jamaicensis L. 1753
