*Stemodia durantifolia (Linnaeus) Swartz. Common name: Purple Stemodia, White-woolly Twintip. Phenology: Jun-Jul. Habitat: Ditches. Distribution: Native of the Neotropics. The AL occurrence was discovered by Howard Horne (pers. comm., June 2018).
