Symphyotrichum chapmanii (Torrey & A. Gray) Semple & Brouillet. Chapman's Aster. Phen: Late Apr-Jun. Hab: Pine flatwoods and seepage bogs. Dist: Endemic to Panhandle FL and s. AL; reports from Alachua County in the n. peninsula and St. Lucie County much farther south appear to be correctly identified.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = Fl7, FNA20, K3, K4, WH3; = Aster chapmanii Torr. & Gray – S, SE1; = Eurybia chapmanii (Torr. & Gray) G.L.Nesom – K1, Nesom (1994a)
