Terminalia buceras (Linnaeus) C. Wright. Common name: Gregorywood, Oxhorn Bucida, Black-olive. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Hammocks. Distribution: FL; West Indies; Mexico and Central America. Likely native in the Florida Keys (Elliott Key); now more widespread in FL as an introduction.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Fl4, FNA10, K4, Meso4.1, Mex; = Bucida bucera — SFla, orthographic variant; = Bucida buceras L. — Bah, S, S13, WH3. Basionym: Bucida buceras L. 1759
