Valeriana scandens Linnaeus. Common name: Florida Valerian. Habitat: Floodplain forests, hammocks. Distribution: Ne. FL south to c. peninsular FL; Mexico (many states, from Tam and COA southwards) through Central America to South America; West Indies.
