Vitis palmata Vahl. Common name: Red Grape, Cat Grape, Catbird Grape. Phenology: Mid Jun-late Jun; late Jul-Oct. Habitat: Floodplain forests, riverbanks. Distribution: IN, sw. VA (Townsend, pers. comm. 2009), c. TN (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997), sc. GA (Jones & Coile 1988), and FL Panhandle west to MO, OK, and TX.
