*Ziziphus jujuba P. Miller. Common name: Chinese Jujube, Common Jujube, Chinese Date. Phenology: May. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Eurasia. Reported from ec. GA (Jones & Coile 1988)

Origin/Endemic status: Eurasia

Other Comments: Cultivated at least as far north as NC. Z. jujuba has been ‘conserved’ over Z. zizyphus.
