*Acalypha arvensis Poeppig & Endlicher. Habitat: Disturbed ground. Distribution: Native of West Indies, Mexico, and Central America. Reported inside greenhouses in Madison County, KY (Adanick & Medley 2020).

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Synonymy : = Fl2, FNA12, K1, K4, WH3; = n/a – C; ? Acalypha aristata Kunth – K3, misapplied
