Aletris obovata Small. Common name: Southern White Colic-root. Phenology: May-early Jun; Aug. Habitat: Pine savannas. Distribution: Se. SC south to c. peninsular FL, west to e. Panhandle FL. Reported for AL and MS (Kartesz 1999, 2015), but the reports rejected (based on misidentified specimens).
