Asimina manasota K.R. DeLaney. Common name: Manasota Pawpaw. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills and dry pine flatwoods. Distribution: Endemic to wc. Panhandle FL (Manatee, Sarasota, and Hardee counties).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = Fl2, K4, NSProv, POWO, WH3, (basionym); < Asimina longifolia Kral var. longifolia — FNA3, Godfrey (1988), Kral (1960)
