*Cereus hexagonus (Linnaeus) P. Miller. Giant Club Cactus, Lady-of-the-night Cactus. Phen: Jan-Dec. Hab: Disturbed areas in Florida scrub and s. Texas scrub. Dist: Native of n. South America and s. West Indies.

Origin/Endemic status: South America

Taxonomy Comments: Taylor et al. (2023) and Taylor & Zappi (2019) discussed the likely future division of C. hexagonus into 2 or possibly more species.

Synonymy : = K4; = n/a – FNA4; >< Cereus repandus – K3, WH3, misapplied
