Echinodorus berteroi (Sprengel) Fassett. Tall Burhead, Upright Burhead. Phen: Apr-Oct. Hab: Ponds, marshes, ditches, typically in seasonally flooded situations. Dist: OH, IL, and ND south to e. Panhandle FL, s. FL, sw. GA, and TX, south through Mexico; West Indies; South America. Reported for s. FL (Lange, Bradley, & Sadle [in prep.]).
