ID notes: "Galactia smallii is endemic to rocky habitats in Dade County and is recognized by its procumbent habit with stems distally twining, stems and leaves variably spreading-hairy to loosely strigose (antrorse or retrorse), and relatively large flowers" (Nesom 2015).
