Helenium pinnatifidum (Nuttall) Rydberg. Common name: Savanna Sneezeweed. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Wet pine savannas and adjacent ditches. Distribution: A Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic: se. NC south to s. FL, west to Panhandle FL, sw. GA, and s. AL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = Fl7, FNA21, GW2, K4, RAB, SE1, WH3, Bierner (1972); = Helenium vernale Walter — S, misapplied; ~ Helenium incisum (Torr. & A.Gray) Small; Leptopoda pinnatifida Schwein. ex Nutt. Basionym: Leptopoda pinnatifida Schwein. ex Nutt. 1841
