*Hippobroma longiflora (Linnaeus) G. Don. Common name: Madam-Fate. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Canal banks and other disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of the West Indies. Reported for Miami-Dade County (Bradley [in prep.]).

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Synonymy : = Fl7, FNA, K4, WH3, WI; = Lobelia longiflora L. Basionym: Lobelia longiflora L. 1753
