Indigofera caroliniana P. Miller. Common name: Carolina Indigo. Phenology: Jun-Aug; Jul-Oct. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, Florida scrub, maritime forests, other sandy forests and woodlands. Distribution: E. NC south to s. FL, west to se. LA, a Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic.
