*Lablab purpureus (Linnaeus) Sweet. Hyacinth-bean, Bonavist. Phen: Aug-Oct. Hab: Disturbed areas. Dist: Native of Africa. Cultivated and rarely may escape or persist as a waif in disturbed areas; it is reported from se. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993) and other scattered localities in our region.

Origin/Endemic status: Subsaharan Africa
