Lechea lakelae Wilbur. Common name: Lakela’s Pinweed. Habitat: Florida scrub, scrubby flatwoods. Distribution: Endemic to Collier County, FL (primarily Marco Island). Possibly extinct, the last collection of this species was made from a vacant lot in 1987.
