not marked as a favorite taxon Liatris chapmanii Torrey & A. Gray. Common name: Chapman's Blazing-star. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Xeric sands of Florida scrub, longleaf pine sandhills, and pine rocklands. Distribution: Sw. GA, s. AL (Barger, Spaulding, & Holt 2013), south to s. FL.
