Liatris gracilis Pursh. Common name: Slender Blazing-star. Phenology: (Jul-) Aug-Oct (-Nov). Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, dry pine flatwoods, pine rocklands. Distribution: SC south to s. FL, west to MS.
