Liatris pauciflora Pursh. Common name: Few-flower Blazing-star. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Xeric sands of Florida scrub, longleaf pine sandhills. Distribution: GA (Tatnall Co.) south to c. peninsular FL; alleged by Small (1933) to extend to SC.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
