Ludwigia leptocarpa (Nuttall) Hara. Common name: Water-willow. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Riverbanks, marshes, swamps, and ditches, often on logs or tree bases in deep swamps. Distribution: VA south to c. peninsular FL, west to e. TX, north in the interior along the Mississippi and Ohio rivers to se. MO, s. IL, and w. WV; and in tropical America.
