Luziola bahiensis (Steudel) A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Brazilian Water Grass. Phenology: Jun-Oct (-May). Habitat: Streams and riverbanks. Distribution: Apparently native (Anderson & Hall 1993), but considered native only of South America by some authors.
