2024 has been a banner year for making the best flora we can imagine. We've created:

*Misopates orontium (Linnaeus) Rafinesque. Weasel's-snout, Lesser Snapdragon. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Disturbed sites, cultivated, persistent or possibly naturalized. Dist: Native of Eurasia. Introduced at least far south as se. PA (Rhoads & Klein 1993), KY (Pennell 1935), and FL Panhandle (Hansen & Wunderlin 2008).

Origin/Endemic status: Eurasia

Synonymy : = Fl6, Il, K1, K3, K4, Mi, NE, NY, WH3; = Antirrhinum orontium L. – C, G, Pennell (1935), Sutton (1988); = n/a – Pa; > Misopates orontium (L.) Raf. ssp. orontium – FNA17
