Petiveria alliacea Linnaeus. Common name: Guinea-hen Weed, Garlic-weed, Obeah-bush. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Hammocks, disturbed areas. Distribution: N. FL and s. TX south through Central America to n. South America; West Indies.
