Pityopsis oligantha (Chapman ex Torrey & A. Gray) Small. Common name: Narrow-leaved Goldenaster, Bog Goldenaster. Phenology: Mar-Jun. Habitat: Wet pine flatwoods, pine savannas, and pitcherplant bogs. Distribution: Sw. GA and Panhandle FL west to s. AL; reports from e. TX (Holmes & Singhurst 2012), e. LA, and w. LA, represent misidentifications of Pityopsis nervosa.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = Fl7, FNA20, K4, POWO, S, WH3, Nesom (2019a), Semple & Bowers (1985); = Chrysopsis oligantha Chapm. ex Torr. & A.Gray — SE1; = Heterotheca oligantha (Chapm.) Harms — Bowers (1972). Basionym: Chrysopsis oligantha Chapm. ex Torr. & A.Gray 1842
