*Selenicereus pteranthus (Link & Otto) Britton & Rose. Common name: Princess-of-the-night, Snake Cactus. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Disturbed hammocks. Distribution: Native of the West Indies and Mexico.

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics
