Tillandsia setacea Swartz. Common name: Wild-pine, Pine-needle Airplant. Habitat: On tree branches, especially on hardwoods, in mesic bluff forests, hammocks, swamps, mangroves. Distribution: Se. GA south to s. FL; West Indies; Mexico, and Central America (Guatemala), and South America (Brazil).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = FNA22, K3, K4, Meso6, WH3; = Tillandsia tenuifolia L. – S, S13, misapplied
