Tripsacum floridanum Porter ex Vasey. Common name: Florida Gama grass. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Pine rocklands, and cultivated northwards in FL as an ornamental (Hall 2019). Distribution: S. FL; Cuba; Hispaniola.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
