Xyris serotina Chapman. Common name: Gray-leaved Yellow-eyed-grass. Phenology: Sep. Habitat: Depression meadows, ultisol savannas (Lynchburg/Rains complex or Eulonia/Oketee), ditches. Distribution: Se. NC south to c. peninsular FL, west to s. MS, in the Coastal Plain.
