Hab: Wet pine savannas and pine flatwoods, bogs, mafic fens and seeps, seasonally flooded ponds, seepage bogs and swamps, wind-tidal marshes, sea-level fens. Dist: NJ south to s. FL, west to sw. AR and e. TX; Mexico (CAM, MIC, TAB, VER), Central America.
