Juncus georgianus Coville. Subgenus: Agathryon. Section: Steirochloa. Georgia Rush, Flatrock Rush. Phen: Jun-Aug. Hab: Shallow depressions in granitic outcrops. Dist: An endemic of the Southeastern Piedmont, restricted to granitic flatrocks of NC, SC, GA, and ec. AL.

ID notes: Much like J. brachyphyllus but with longer anthers, and an endemic and habitat specialist, restricted to granite flatrocks and other areas of thin soils in the southeastern Piedmont.
