Bulbostylis warei (Torrey) C.B. Clarke. Ware's Hairsedge. Phen: Jul-Oct. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, dry pine flatwoods, dunes, Florida scrub. Dist: Se. NC south to s. FL and west to s. AL.

ID notes:Bulbostylis warei is similar to B. stenophylla and B. barbata in having a single dense head atop each stem, but the inflorescence bracts are fimbriate at the base and flower scales are ciliate at the tip.
