Carex disjuncta (Fernald) E.P. Bicknell. Section: [26m] Section 9 Glareosae. Silvery Sedge. Phen: Jun. Hab: Bogs, depression ponds, swamps and marshes (including fresh to oligohaline tidal sites), often in disturbed areas. Dist: NL (Newfoundland) west to MN, south to VA, NC, SC, OH, and IN.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Syn: = Carex canescens ssp. disjuncta – FNA23, K1, K3, K4, Mi, NE, NY, Tn; = Carex canescens var. disjuncta – F, G, Pa, RAB, Va; < Carex canescens – C, Mackenzie (1931-1935)
