Hab: Wet forests, floodplain pools, blackwater, tidal, and brownwater swamps, riverbanks, especially in or around seasonal ponded areas, maybe especially associated with alkaline areas. Dist: VT and QC west to se. WI, south to s. FL and e. TX.
